This article is a continuation to Part 1,
which describes the first two iPhone released by Apple, the original
iPhone and the iPhone 3. After iPhone 3G, Apple rushed to fix the
problem the handset had with the iOS 4 and some other functional issues ,
therefore launching in 2009 the next upgrade, the iPhone 3GS which
featured a faster processor, a faster 3G capability and was far more
smoother in running applications. Now, there were no more problems with
running iOS 4. The new handset offered a better response and it was a
lot more snappier than its older brother. Apple also doubled the RAM,
added video recording support, increased the digital camera resolution,
doubled the storage memory size and also improved the touch screen
functionality by employing an eleophobic coating which was
fingerprint-resistant. Overall, the iPhone 3GS was far better than
iPhone 3G and the high number of sales showed just that.
The iPhone 4 was the latest smartphone creation from Apple. The phone
was released in the summer of 2010 featuring a thinner body than its
predecessor, the iPhone 3GS. This was such a mind boggling feature,
since the RAM had been doubled again, a far better processor, a better
camera featuring 720p video recording capability with Flash, a
frontal-facing camera, three axis gyro and a microphone on top for noise
cancelation. But since technology is always advancing, people have
managed to fit far better hardware units in a smaller space, so
everything gets smaller and thinner while the capabilities are doubling
every year.
A great iPhone 4 component is the spectacular touch screen that
features a resolution of 960 x 640 pixels which is still the best
resolution on the market at this time. The high quality display is
possible thanks to the innovative technology patented by Apple, called
the Apple’s Retina Display. Other features that were included here are:
the reinforced screen with aluminosilicate glass, stainless steel body
structure, an antenna and a flatter look design. The iPhone 4 is a
