As we all know, there is a very high probability that Apple will
launch in October 2011 the new version of the most popular smartphone,
the iPhone 5. Compared to the previous models, the new smartphone will
feature the latest technologies in terms of software and hardware. We
expect among others, 4G capability, smooth video conversion, faster
network access and many more. In addition to upgrades to all fundamental
functions of the previous handsets, one of the most interesting
features will be the RFID applications and the biometric technology. The
implanted RFID chip is the latest feature that hasn’t been implemented
in too many devices yet, which allows you to make bank payments, use the
phone instead of your car keys to open your car, use your phone as a
show ticket and many more.
These are several predictions for the most important features that will be incorporated into the new iPhone 5 smartphone.
- 1. iOS 5
2. 4G Capability
3. Flash Support
-
This will open the avenue for many iPhone features and apps. iPhone
needs Flash capability very badly. This is the reason why most customers
sold their iPhones and bought and HTC instead.
5. 3D Graphics enhanced
-
As probably most people already expect, the new model will feature a more powerful graphics device.
-
As we have seen in the past, every time Apple launches a new iPhone
product, the battery lasts longer, so we can expect a longer battery
life in the new iPhone 5. Compared to iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 offered 40%
more talktime, so the next generation of smartphones will probably
feature a lot more than 40%.
8. Better camera
-
The current standard for iPhone 4 is the 5 mega pixel digital camera
with LED flash capability. We don’t expect any less than 8 mega pixel
for the new iPhone 5.
-
Apple had always tried to offer the best user experience through their
User Interfaces but still people made jokes about the iPhone 4 over the
fact that it does pretty much everything except making calls, which
sadly wasn’t far from the truth. Calling someone or answering a phone
call was not that intuitive. The company have recently applied for
several patents in the UI development realm and they plan to come up
with something amazing in this area of technology.
11. Increased storage space
-
The current versions of iPhone 4 feature a 16 GB and a 32 GB storage
capability. Although people except a 64 GB version, there are low
chances that will be possible within this year. Probably the next year
we will have a 64 GB iPhone 5, but this year is less likely.
13. HD Output
-
Apple needs to seriously improve the output feature for the High
Definition facility. You don’t really need to enter the password twice
if you happen to lock the phone. A simple slide of your finger onto the
screen should do the trick.
So these are some of the most interesting features that Apple should
definitely look upon and hopefully we will see them implemented into
their future smartphone iPhone 5. Who knows? Maybe some of the features
will be implemented into the new iPhone 4GS as well. That would be
terrific. Since there is enough information to point out October to be
date of release for the new iPhone 5, we have less than 2 months to sell
our iPhones before the price goes down by at least half of what they
are worth right now. If you plan to purchase the new iPhone 5, you need
to sell your old handset to get the most out of it, and then purchase
the new release when it comes out. Since I also have a Blackberry I will
sell my cell phone (my iPhone), and keep the money for an iPhone 5 preorder.
